You told me you loved me
I thought it was true
What I didn't realize -
I never loved you

I told you I did tho,
Thus we did proceed
To live in a lie that
We tried to believe

I really did try, though,
To make that lie true -
Pursued every option
A woman can do

But nothing could save it,
That marriage of mine
Lie became Divorce
And the drawing of lines

But lines cannot stop it,
This pact that we have
We must mend what's broken
For the life that we gave
